See what a tilt does to the site.

Explore how module tilt, clear row gap and site dimensions affect row count, panel count, array height, geometric GCR and indicative DC capacity.

Project inputs

Defaults are examples, not recommendations. Replace them with traceable project assumptions.

Length available along each row.
Distance available across successive rows.
Tilted table length, not single-module length unless 1-up.
Include any intended module-to-module allowance separately.
Angle above horizontal.
Use a verified spacing result or project constraint.
For indicative top-edge height only.
Used only for nameplate DC screening.

Method and assumptions

This tool uses section geometry and rectangular land limits. It calculates tilted-array rise and horizontal projection, adds the entered clear gap to form pitch, then fits whole rows and whole modules within the usable dimensions.

  • Change the tilt or clear gap to compare alternatives.
  • Use net usable dimensions after setbacks, roads and drainage.
  • DC capacity is module count multiplied by module nameplate power.
