Check the working envelope first.

Compare a simplified agrivoltaic array cross-section with user-defined machinery height, width, safety allowances, module slope length, tilt and row pitch.

Project inputs

Defaults are examples, not recommendations. Replace them with traceable project assumptions.

Vertical clearance at the lower array edge.
Total tilted table dimension.
Fixed cross-section angle.
Front-to-front row spacing.
Maximum transport or operating envelope.
Maximum working width to be accommodated.
Added above the machinery envelope.
Added on both sides of the machinery.

Method and assumptions

The array horizontal projection is L × cos(tilt); top edge is low-edge clearance plus L × sin(tilt). Clear inter-row passage is pitch minus horizontal projection. Margins compare those dimensions with the entered equipment envelope and allowances.

  • Vertical and lateral checks are reported independently.
  • Geometric GCR is projection divided by pitch.
  • Negative margin flags a direct conceptual conflict.
